Everybody has a usb charger or six laying around the house, so the inclusion of the two pin euro charger is of little concequence. Though it must me pointed out, that the mini USB jack is not compatable with the phone jacks, use the supplied cable.

The wind jammer is quite a usefull little addition for anyone recording outdoors. Yes there are better versions on the market that can handle higher wind speeds, but they do not come bundled with the star of pack, the remote control. To any DSLR shooter who needs to mount the recorder close to the subject yet stand further back to frame the shot the remote is a real god send.

The mains supply would have been better if it could have been supplied with interchangeable pins for the countries delivered to, or at least bundled with the appropiate adaptor. So if you need it, be sure to buy an adaptor specific to were you will be using it.

Although the main point of the APH-5 is the remote control, all the other accessories included are quite handy.
The remote is compact, not big nor small. The cable is about 1 meter, and it comes with a 3 meter extension cable. The connector itself is a standard 2.5mm TRRS.
The wind screen is pretty decent, and it is easy to install. Still, I'd recommend a windjammer like the Rycote for the H5.
The power brick delivers 5v at 1A, and it could be used for other purposes.

Pros:
- Good set of accessories
- Good quality

Cons:
- Wired remote. It would be much more convenient if it were wireless.

Honestly, I bought this mainly for the furry shield. The other parts were a bonus. It's an OK shield but it muffles the sound a bit too much. I would prefer to have a higher quality shield and not have the remote instead (which I've never needed so far). And the adapter has nothing special to it, any generic adapter would do.
So if you think you need all the products in this kit, it's a good set. But if you only need a furry, I would go with something like Rycote for better sound fidelity.
